Patricia Copeland, Merchant of Happiness Painting has become a way of inhabiting the world. After several years in the media world — newspapers, radio, television and magazines — Patricia Copeland felt an irresistible need to create in 2010. In 2015, she chose to devote herself entirely to painting. Over the years, her creations have been presented in several recognized galleries and are now found in private collections in Canada, the United States, Asia and Europe, as well as in several corporate spaces. Born in France, having grown up in Canada in Quebec's Eastern Townships, Patricia lived for more than twenty years in Quebec City, then spent a few years in Montreal on Île-des-Sœurs. Today, she is an independent artist in Bromont, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Her work unfolds primarily through two universes: her abstract works and her emblematic series: "Copeland's Flowers." Inspired by travels, encounters, architecture, light and emotions that mark a life journey, she creates works imbued with energy, movement and sensitivity.
